I have been doing a lot of printing on our whizzy laser colour printer. I didn’t take into consideration that graphics and block colours clearly take more of a toll on the toner cartridges than printing photographs. Last night I went to print some posters for playgroup and I had run out of magenta and yellow! (been too fond of orange it seems). So I have had to resort to the old ways and re-designed the posters so that I could colour it in with ‘Miss. Crayons’ colouring pencils.
There is definitely something very satisfying about using colouring pencils and crayons. I have been so used to digital medium that I have forgotten what it’s all about. So it was rather nice to be reminded that there was life before the computer.
Replacement cartridges have been ordered though…
Oh, I love colouring! You’re more than welcome to send some over my way – I have, sorry, MY KIDS have loads of crayons and pens…
We love colouring too, infact I have just moved out small ikea children table down from the boys bedroom to the conservatory adn covered it in paper
